Indesignlabs is a product design consultancy focused on turning complex mechanical ideas into manufacturable, production-ready hardware.

Founded in 2011 by an IIT Delhi–trained Mechanical Engineer with 18+ years of hands-on experience, Indesignlabs works with startups and companies building consumer durables, mechanical systems, and plastic-intensive products where engineering decisions directly impact cost, reliability, and scale.

Our core expertise lies in mechanism design and plastic enclosure development, with deep ownership from early engineering concepts to tooling-ready, factory-viable designs. We don’t stop at visuals—our work is grounded in DFM, DFA, tolerance control, and real manufacturing constraints.

With over 20 years of advanced SolidWorks and KeyShot experience, we use CAD and visualization as engineering tools to resolve risks early—before they become expensive production problems.

Indesignlabs began as a focused freelance practice and evolved into a consulting-led studio by consistently delivering designs that survive vendors, tooling, and mass production. Today, we partner with international clients who value clear thinking, decisive engineering, and accountability.
